The general process of garlic export trade is as follows:
Garlic exporters and garlic importers agree on export terms: negotiate trade details with garlic buyers, including garlic price, garlic packaging, garlic transportation, and departure time, and sign export contracts.
Prepare source of goods and documents: confirm if there are import and export qualifications, prepare the garlic source of goods, and organize packaging. At the same time, prepare the necessary documents for export, such as entry and exit animal and plant inspection and quarantine, customs clearance forms, customs declaration forms, packing lists, etc.
Garlic booking and inspection: charter a ship to book the shipment, handle relevant matters, and determine the shipping schedule. At the same time, conducting an inspection usually requires the garlic seller's factory to have commercial inspection qualifications. If you do not have the qualification for garlic inspection, you can entrust an agent to apply for inspection.
Garlic transportation and loading: Arrange inland transportation and storage-related matters, prepare trailers and documents. Within the agreed deadline, complete the relevant property transfer procedures and obtain the bill of lading.
Garlic customs declaration and inspection: Contact the customs broker for the garlic export customs declaration. After customs review, if no inspection is required, the shipment can be directly released for loading.
International settlement: According to the garlic purchase and sales contract, the buyer pays a deposit or full payment. After the seller receives payment, they prepare for the garlic loading and wait for the ship to depart.
Waiting for departure and payment: Arrange shipment at the designated dock yard and issue a bill of lading for payment.
In the above process, it should be noted that each link may involve specific regulations and requirements, such as entry and exit animal and plant inspection and quarantine, commercial inspection qualifications, etc. In practical operation, other factors may need to be considered, such as transportation time, temperature control of goods, etc., to ensure the smooth progress of garlic export trade.
